Paula Patton was born in Los Angeles in a middle-class family. Her childhood was filled having big hopes. Her most memorable roles include the action spy film Mission: Impossible: Ghost Protocol and the dramatic Precious. While growing up with her family in Los Angeles with a middle-class mother, the actress had plenty of desires. Her mother was a film enthusiast and urged her to enjoy films when she was a kid. Paula became involved in many co-curricular activities in school and had an interest in drama. She played with her classmates as well as participated in school's plays. She performed in numerous performances at the high school of Hamilton Magnet Arts High School and then decided to pursue acting as a profession. She was part of at the University of Southern Cal's summer program, and enjoyed tremendously. The program awarded her a 3-month contract making documentaries for PBS. She began her career as a production assistant for TV following the completion of this task. When she was done with her work then she began putting together documentary films. However, she had always wanted to work as an actress even though she was happy with her current job. Her career in acting started with minor roles with Will Smith in the romantic comedy Hitch. Since then, she's appeared in a number of popular films and television shows.
